The concept

What is a Health Hop?

Health Hops is a new way to combine fitness and social with exploring what your city has to offer. A typical Health Hop is a 2-3 hour adventure that will take you to three to four stops, combined with running (or walking) between the stops.

What are the stages of a Health Hop?

Every Health Hop is different but we aim to cover the core pillars of fitness and wellness in each.

01

The Energy

We all meet at the first studio of the Health Hop, usually to begin with high-energy cardio, HIIT, or strength training through a studio for approximately 30 minutes.

02

The Muscle

With the option to walk, run, or take a transit method of your choice, we all travel to the second studio of Health Hop, usually for a strength or mat-based fitness class.

03

The Flow

We end with a final studio that focuses on mind-body connection and/or recovery, such as mobility, yoga, pilates, sauna, or breath-work to switch gears and reset the nervous system.

04

The Social

Take time to connect with new friends and anyone you brought with you over beverages, food, and fun. Sponsor brands will be onsite providing goodies and you'll have the chance to learn more from the participating studios and take home a swag bag.

Where to find your Health Hop

Health Hops are launching in cities in Canada, such as Toronto, Ottawa, Kitchener, Waterloo, and Hamilton. If you want a Health Hop in your city, get in touch!

Your Frequently Asked Questions about Health Hops

Do I need to be fit to join a Health Hop?
A Health Hop will include fitness studios that cater to all levels of fitness activity. While you're in for a couple hours of activity, each studio has modifications and you always have the ability to take the breaks you need. You are also free to navigate between studios in any way that works for you (run, walk, transit... even drive!).
What do I bring or wear to a Health Hop?
Wear the workout gear you're comfortable in. Choose shoes you're comfortable walking or running in. Sometimes the activities or navigating between studios will take place outdoors. In that case, please dress according to the weather and don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and/or a hat. Note that where equipment is required, the studio will provide. Wear a small backpack to easily journey between studios with anything you wish to bring.
What will be available at each studio involved in a Health Hop?
At each studio there will be a Fuel Station. The stations will vary but will always have water and snacks. Aside from that, the studios will have all equipment necessary whether it is specialized shoes, mats, weights, and towels. You do not need to pack anything!
Is there a waiver for Health Hop?
