Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Health Hop website, registration system, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Health Hop (“Health Hop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

Use of Services

The Services are intended to provide information about and facilitate registration for Health Hop events, which are in-person fitness and wellness experiences involving travel between participating fitness studios.

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Services or interfere with any other user’s access.

Event Participation and Waiver Requirement

Participation in any Health Hop event is subject to a separate event-specific waiver and release of liability, which must be signed prior to participation. That waiver governs all physical activity and risks associated with participation, including but not limited to travel between studio locations.

These Terms govern use of the website and Services only and are separate from any event waiver. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed event waiver, the event waiver shall govern with respect to physical participation and liability.

No Medical, Fitness, or Supervision Services

Health Hop does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, coaching, supervision, or transportation services. All participation in events is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk, subject to the applicable event waiver.

Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted under your account.

Payments (Stripe)

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By submitting payment information, you agree to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.

Health Hop does not store full credit card information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe.

All fees are charged in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Refunds and Cancellations

All registration fees are non-refundable except as set out in this section.

Cancellations made more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start time of a Health Hop event are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method.

Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled start time of the event are not eligible for a refund. At the sole discretion of Health Hop, a registration credit may be issued for use toward a future Health Hop event. Any such credit is not guaranteed, may be subject to expiration, and is not redeemable for cash.

Health Hop does not guarantee the availability, scheduling, or occurrence of any future events and shall have no obligation to organize, reschedule, or host replacement events. The issuance of credits, if any, does not constitute a commitment to operate future events or a continuing obligation to do so.

Event Changes, Substitutions, and Cancellation

Health Hop reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, reschedule, substitute, or cancel any event, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, low attendance, or changes affecting participating studios or venues.

This includes changes to event routes, timing, participating studios, format, or other logistical elements.

Where reasonably possible, Health Hop may provide notice of such changes, however notice is not guaranteed and may not be provided in advance.

In the event of cancellation or material change, Health Hop may, at its sole discretion, offer a refund or credit in accordance with the Refunds and Cancellations section of these Terms. No guarantee is made that any refund or credit will be issued in all circumstances.

Third-Party Services

The Services may involve third-party providers, including but not limited to fitness studios, venues, Stripe, analytics providers, and hosting services. Health Hop is not responsible for the actions, policies, or services of third parties.

Fitness Industry Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that fitness and endurance-based activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, environmental conditions, and travel between locations. Such risks are governed exclusively by the event waiver and not these Terms.

Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Health Hop, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, sponsors, partners, and affiliated organizations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
